Weekly day trips with MV Voyager , MV Lady Maris and MV Alderney Felix around the island, to Guernsey, Sark and France. These vessels are licensed to carry up to 12 passengers and are available for charter.

Voyager

The Voyager specialises in ‘Round Island Trips’ visiting the Puffins and Gannet colonies on Burhou Island, Ortac and Les Etac’s and the Atlantic seal colony near Burhou Reef. The boats crew have an intimate knowledge of the local waters, coupled with a good knowledge of ornithology and the history of the Island including the stories of the shipwrecks. It is the boat chosen by the Alderney Wildlife Trust for their ornithology and wild life specials.

 

Weather permitting Voyager runs daily trips and seat and charter bookings can be made at McAllisters Wet Fish Shop in Victoria Street, Alderney.

Alderney Felix

A new , larger boat has been commissioned in time for the 2006 season. The boat is an ‘’Offshore Procharter Long Island 40’’ It is the top model in the new range of boats from Offshore 105  of Wadebridge.

It is an extremely stable seagoing platform to rival catamaran seakeeping. It will have a cruising speed of 20 knots, from a modern electronically controlled engine, with  emissions well below that required by regulations. She will have an island wheelhouse, seating ten in comfort, with hot and cold running water, a facility for hot drinks and a heated cabin. A large clear deck space gives unfettered access to 96 feet of gunwhale. She is being built to comply with all regulations for up to 12 passengers and two crew, operating up to sixty miles from land.’
